Dan Wysong, Lead Pastor
Dan  Although Dan grew up as a pastor’s kid, he wanted to get out of the saltshaker and be salt in the world. But after graduating from Union College with a degree in Finance, Dan felt God calling him into the saltshaker to help get the salt out.

Dan received a Masters of Divinity (M.Div.) at Andrews University, and has served as a pastor in Washington, Nebraska, and California. He is amazed daily at the incredible variety and richness of our God and His love – and just how revolutionary and transforming Jesus is.

The most important people in his life are his beautiful and brilliant wife Heather and three above-average kids: Abigaile, Grant, and Ryan. When they aren’t keeping him busy, he enjoys snow-boarding, mountain climbing, SCUBA diving, running, basketball, and building stuff.

Jonny Hayasaka, Associate/Youth Pastor
Jonny  Jonny Hayasaka joined our church in 2007 from Southern California where he was the Youth Pastor at Loma Linda Church.

He enjoys tennis, hockey, volleyball and footbag.

Jonny is passionate about good food, good music and crazy kids.

He received his Bachelor of Arts in Theology from Walla Walla College.

Mary Jo Lauderdale, Member Care Coordinator
Mary jo  Mary Jo has served as Women’s Ministries Leader in Chico for several years and a member of the Women's Ministries Advisory Board for the Northern California Conference. Mary Jo was asked to serve as the Women’s Ministries Director for the Northern California Conference in 2008. She shares her testimony of God's grace in a compelling story of her life to help women understand that God has an extraordinary plan for each of our lives.

In 1985 Mary Jo began to research the field of death and dying in an attempt to understand the grieving process more fully. She hoped it would help her with the impending death of her terminally ill father. Again, in 1992 Mary Jo faced another tragic loss with the death of her husband. After some time she began working with funeral homes to develop aftercare programs to help grieving families. Over the next few years she developed a syllabus on grief and loss, began conducting seminars nationwide and founded New Hope Fellowship for Widows to assist them in creative coping.

In 2005, Mary Jo graduated with her Master’s Degree in Biblical Counseling and continues working with people to help them in their healing process.

Throughout her journey God has impressed her to continue His plan for her life and to have faith and trust in the words of Jeremiah 29:11. “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not evil, to give you a future and a hope.” We must keep pressing forward because "All thing work together for good to them that love the LORD."

Today, it is her desire to challenge women to have joy in who they are and to become all that God has created them to be. Mary Jo believes that no matter what your personal history may be; God is always leaps ahead to guide and forge the way to help you reach your full potential in HIM. And truly His plan is always supreme!
